First Contact

You can make contact by email ,text, voicemail or letter. I will answer as soon as I am able ( usually within 48 hours) and offer you an initial conversation by phone or screen call such as Zoom, FaceTime or Skype. There is no charge for this and we can see if I am able to offer you what you are looking for, cost and travel implications and, most importantly whether you feel you would want to work with me if all else fitted.

We would then arrange one or more sessions to explore your concerns, your history and current life and again, if both you and I feel positive about working together we would continue. During the assessment you do not have to reveal anything you would prefer to hold back and particularly,I would not be asking you to detail traumatic memories until you feel safe enough to do so, and even then if we work together we can still work with those memories without revealing their details if doing so would be too difficult.

I normally work on a weekly basis ,especially in the early stages of the therapy, but if circumstances make that too difficult we can arrange other timings provided we feel it is safe to work with longer intervals.

I normally work face to face but I am providing therapy online during the current Covid crisis. I will return to in-person work when it seems safe enough to do so but you may wish to continue online which would be fine if the online work so far had felt of value.
